I always use a soft baby wipe cloth when cleaning the little one’s ears and tongue. I didn’t do this the first few weeks but noticed that they could do with a gentle scrubbing as she started her third month. I wet the wipe cloth in warm water and gently wipe the inside of baby’s ear (don’t use cotton swabs or stick your fingers inside an infant’s ear canal) and the front of baby’s tongue (don’t try to rub the back of the tongue because this may induce vomiting) every morning before bath time. It’s all a part of her daily routine now.
