Ahalya loves the water so washing her is never too troublesome. She plays with her squeaky rubber ducky while splashing about in the baby tub. A bath toy also helps distracts her while I rub her ears, clean her tongue and wipe her eyes and neck. It’s also important to remember that no matter what toys or equipment you use to keep baby occupied, NEVER leave your baby alone for even a minute in an infant or adult tub. Don’t leave to answer a call, the doorbell or even to check on the stove etc. A bath is a dangerous place to leave a baby alone. So always make sure she is out of the water and safe before leaving to attend even the most urgent of chores.
