Baby Trend Travel System (Review)

This is Ahalya’s baby stroller. It’s where she stays while we eat at restaurants, while I cook and do chores around the house, while we walk to ease a fussy episode and during a million other things that require her to be mobile but safe.

I realized just how useful it is during my recent trip to Galle. We bought the Range Jogging Stroller from Baby Trend because it works well on any terrain like those awfully bumpy lanes in Sri Lanka with high-impact light-weight wheels. There is a lockable swivel-wheel that allows you to lock the front wheel straight when jogging or moving fast straight ahead, and also unlocks for easy low speed strolling (you can also lock the rear wheels for immobility).

I also love the parent tray that includes two cup holders and the small covered compartment storage. The child tray with two cup holders also serves as a car seat lock to forma baby-safe travel system. The stroller also comes with a multi-position reclining padded seat that serves as a car seat.

The wide rubber handle is ergonomically-shaped and the adjustable canopy with covered sunroof ratchets block harsh sunlight and strong winds (this also helped when it rained during a walk we took). It also has a folding trigger that is super easy to use for travelling in a vehicle, especially because of the light-weight steel frame.

This particular Baby Trend Stroller also comes with a fully adjustable 5 point safety harness and tether strap. And the footrest reflectors provide greater low-light visibility and the large storage basket at the bottom is useful for carrying baby’s bags etc.
