Since my little girl has been in disposable diapers full time, our baby changing tray too has seen a few changes of its own. You don’t need room for nappy pins anymore. But the roll of kitchen towels, nappy cream and the bowl full of cotton wool soaked in hot water still remain. We also don’t have pre-folded cotton nappies on the tray anymore (no more washing, drying and ironing nappies) – instead you will find a stack of baby diapers. The bowl lined with kitchen towels for waste has also left the baby changing tray – Velcro straps on the used diapers work to turn them into sort of make shift bowls that will hold the cotton wool and kitchen towels you use to clean the baby with, and can be easily wrapped and safely disposed of soon after every change.
