The 4th ingredient I introduced Ahalya to was mashed banana pap. Because she was already taking breakfast and lunch, I served this around 3.30pm as a snack. Her face twisted and her lips puckered at the first taste of this sweet and sour fruit. But then, she took to it well. Banana is one of the most well-suited foods for a 6 month old, so it’s always good to start an infant’s fruit introduction with it.
Bananas are also packed with many of the nutrients that your baby needs. It has the perfect combination of rich potassium but is low in sodium, making it a heart-healthy choice. Additionally, it has an abundance of vitamin B6, vitamin C, and vitamin B2.
