A cheaper but still nutritious cereal option to try out with your baby, as instructed by the midwife (also because my baby is a slow weight-gainer), is Suposha (‘Samaposha’ is almost the same product sold under a different brand name).
Made from corn, soy, green-gram or mung beans and red rice, it is an SLS certified product that is, most importantly, not genetically modified and also chemical free with no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives.
This was Ahalya’s 38th ingredient to try and I made it only by mixing warm water to the cereal.
