Ahalya tasted couscous (8 months+) for the first time as her 67th ingredient. It can’t really be considered the introduction of a new ingredient because couscous is made using semolina and my little one has already tried it. And it consists of essentially the same nutrients and health benefits.
But I still chose to introduce it separately to my daughter and, with the help of my husband (only my left hand functions at this point because the surgeon will removing the stitches on my right in 12 days), combined it with roasted eggplant purée (I drizzled the aubergine with organic virgin coconut oil before baking) and unsalted butter.
And guess what? She LOVED it!
