Introducing Cucumber to Baby

As her 82nd ingredient to try, I introduced Cucumber (8 months+) to my baby. I poached half a peeled and de-seeded cucumber with plum and mashed it together with banana once fully cooked. I know it sounds like an odd combination but it tasted great and she loved it!
Cucumbers are full of vitamin A, vitamin B6, vitamin E, vitamin K, niacin, thiamin and folate. A great source of antioxidants, this fruit (yes it is considered a fruit) also contains calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium and silica.
It remedies stomach disorders, acts as a natural pain killer, controls skin eruptions, builds immunity, improves eyesight, aids hemoglobin formation and neurological functions, stops platelet aggregation, destroys free radicals, helps blood coagulation and bone metabolism, prevents cancer and osteoporosis, fights dehydration and keeps blood pressure in check.
